Walnut Ridge is a newer wedding venue and event space located in Shellsburg, IA, just 20 minutes north of Cedar Rapids. This spacious venue promises to be a stylish, versatile setting for weddings of all kinds. Set on picturesque grounds with walnut trees, prairie grass, native wildflowers, and waterfront views, Walnut Ridge is intended to be a private spot outside the city. It makes the perfect countryside escape for couples to enjoy their celebration. An elegant modern barn, the venue features a floor-to-ceiling steel fireplace and large black glass garage doors that open to show the beautiful countryside surroundings.

I would highly recommend having your wedding at Walnut Ridge! Aside from the obvious of how beautiful the venue is, Jennica is so helpful and lovely to work with! Her communication has been amazing from the very first email I sent her. She has been so helpful with giving me names of vendors and answering all of my questions. Just walking into this venue you can tell how much thought was put into all of the details, and they have worked so hard making it the perfect place for couples to have their wedding. If you’re thinking about booking your wedding at Walnut Ridge, do it!
